Super Tip Tuesday- Sometimes There Is No In Between


I think about this in ALL of my ventures. I think about this before each client I work with. It is what I am hoping my clients have, COMMITMENT! There is NO in between when trying to reach a goal. Whether I’m Life Coaching or Organizing, it applies to both. You need commitment. Commitment to yourself is where ANY change can begin.

I made a commitment to myself to better my life and work really hard on finding the balance. I’m always trying to find the balance of school, work, hobbies, friends, relationships, and family. I am succeeding in varying degrees. Hehe. But no matter what, I have a commitment to myself!

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been painting and writing. I’ve made a commitment to produce art and I’m committed to releasing it in 2015. I have grown inside from doing this and my life is better because of it! Make a commitment to yourself! Make a commitment to yourself!

Write It Down


Commitment! Its a strong word! To commit to something. You make a decision about something and you want to stick to it!

Organizing involves commitment. It involves YOUR commitment to making your life easier but FIRST you have to commit yourself to working on making your life easier. Without commitment, nothing happens. I briefly talk about this in my spinoff blog at that sometimes WRITING things down can help. I’m a visual person and write things down all the time. It helps me in my organization personally and professionally.

You can do it in a variety of ways. You can write down an actual goal on a post it or piece of paper and tape it up somewhere. Somewhere you will SEE it everyday (i.e. next to the bathroom mirror, next to the front door, on the back door, etc.)! An actual calendar hanging up on the wall or on your desk top can work. You can write the goal in one of the boxes for the dates. Another suggestion is writing KEY WORDS that remind of the goal and write them down in pieces of paper and place them in random places that AGAIN you’ll see them. Like in a purse or jacket pocket. Near your Keurig when you make your morning coffee. Seeing and being reminded can sometimes keep you focused and the momentum going. And I know that sometimes I need all the help I can get!
