3 Reasons You’re Not Getting Ahead

09 May

Do you feel behind in everything? Do you have so many ideas and plans but just can’t seem to get to them to execute them? Are you in the same spot you were a year ago and not happy about it? Here are 3 reasons why you’re NOT getting ahead:

1- Fear! Fear of the unknown. Fear of failure. Fear of SUCCESS! Fear of how to start and failing or flailing. FEAR can be used for good and for motivation to go ahead and do it and push through it!

2- Disorganization! Your space is cluttered. You can’t seem to keep your schedule in order. I will say this until I’m blue in the face: A cluttered space leads to a cluttered mind that can’t think clearly. Without clarity you can’t create or focus!

3- Letting Others Dictate Your Dreams! You have to find the balance of listening to others with an open ear and only taking advice that really serves you. People will project all kinds of feelings onto what you share with them. Their intentions may be good and not even know they are doing it. Some people are jealous or envious and will say things to you to keep you back. Sometimes they are right and other times they aren’t. Look at who is in your life. Look at the exmaples THEY are setting. Only YOU knows whats best for YOU. You have to trust in that and allow yourself to TRY!

There’s another reason: You lack ambition. If someone lacks ambition but cries a bucket about someone’s getting ahead, then she needs to change her attitude.
