I is for I

23 Jul

This is one of the few instances that I is good. This is one of the few times that there IS an I in team! When it comes to shifting your way of thinking to organize and live an organized life, I is the team. YOU are the team!

I don’t know about you but I have some voices in my head. LOL They will say things to you at any time. They of course is YOU. YOU will say stuff to yourself to stay disorganized. You will talk yourself out of doing something. BUT you can ALSO talk yourself INTO doing something too. This is all YOU. Nobody else.

I, I, I ,I…you need to say to yourself:

  • I know its all up to me.Β
  • I know that I have to make the decisions
  • I know that its ALL begins with me
  • I can change my mindset
  • I can do this

I, I, I, I

When I tutor kids I always teach them to become aware of and recognize their self-talk and to discern if it’s positive or negative. πŸ™‚ Negatives can be changed into positives. Most times it’s a case of ‘fake it til you make it’, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that if it’s moving you towards positive life changes!

Oh, and I think it’s important for people to believe that the responsibility of making decisions is empowering, not overwhelming!

THAT is a great point! When folks think something is overwhelming, they tend to NOT do anything.
