Super Tip Thursday- A Quick Way To Organize Papers
There is a more extensive way to set up a filing system for you paper and documents. (I will write about that another time.) Today I am going to give you a quick and easy way to organize that mess of papers on your desk, table, bed, you get the idea.
Supplies: 1 box, some file folders, marker or pen (or labels)
Space: A table (if you can clear it), the floor (can be hard on the back) or the bed (if nothing is on it.)
Lay the folders out next to each other.
Lay them out open (or you can keep them closed.) The point is that you want everything that belongs in that folder to stay put.
Start with your pile(s) and place all things that belong together…on the folder (or in the folder).
Do this until all papers have a home.
Put papers in folders. Close up. Write on the folder what it is for. (or write n the labels.)
