Every night before I go to bed, I gather everything that I will need the next morning (or whole day). For example for Friday, I will need my yoga mat, yoga backpack (I make sure what I need in there is there.), my iPad (I have a client meeting that morning), and my clothes that I am going to wear. Plus my wallet, keys, chapstick, gum, etc. are pulled out too. I designated a chair in my bedroom as the spot that I will put all of that stuff. I put it all there and I can go to bed knowing I am ready for tomorrow. Peace of mind. Peaceful sleep.
The next morning I am not running around trying to find everything. My time is spent on showering, getting ready, meditating, answering last minute emails, whatever! Pick a spot that is NOT cluttered and easy to get to. It also needs to be a spot that you will not keep cluttered. Make sure its a spot that will work for you! Depending on your items, it could be a bag, a tray, a table top, a chair, a love seat, a corner by the door,on hangers in the front of the closet! Its a nice organized way to your morning!
