Super Tip Thursday- Do IT At Your Own Pace.

I talk about it a lott on here. I have blog posts on it. I’m ALL about doing things at your own pace. I talk about starting small. If going all in works better for you, then do that. Many of us are in the middle spectrum. That can work too. WE are still in the first week of 2015 and I wanted to put a reminder out there to do it at your own pace!

THAT goes for me too! I have so many things I want to accomplish this year. I also have some things from last year to finish. I have to work on not getting overwhelmed by it! Yes you can get overwhelmed by too many GOOD things. For me, I want to do everything NOW,but that is virtually impossible. I am always pacing myself. I will get there. It’s not a race. Right? I don’t know about you, but when I feel overwhelmed or stressed, I end up not doing anything. HAHA! Weird how that happens. Also when I am stressed, I’ll tend to rush through a job or task and make errors. That’s never good! If there is no deadline, then do it at your own pace.


AS many of you know, I don’t believe in New Year’s Resolutions, but I believe in having goals and dreams and starting them WHENEVER you are motivated to do so! With that in mind, I invite you to be realistic. I ask you to really ask yourself what your commitment level is and realistically how much time you can devote to it. You can’t organize your whole house in a week, but you can over the course of time. You can always change the pace too.You can be slow one week and working heavily the next and back to slow the following week. Its okay! This is the time of the year you will hear experts on TV and Video or read in magazines on how you should do things EXACTLY THIS WAY or THAT WAY. And within many of those, time tables are included. You can still follow their general advice,but do it at whatever level is comfortable for you. 


There is some great advice out there (and here too!)! You are human. You are busy. But as long as you have a commitment to yourself about a particular thing, you can work it at whatever pace you want. The goal is to get there, but who cares how fast. Do it at your own pace!!
