3 Forgotten Places To Clean

13 Oct

I like to keep a clean house. Like a lot of people, I tend to clean all the places that are visible and obvious. The other day I was looking at my pedestal sink and noticed how dirty it was on the backside of my faucet and it was really dirty. That got me thinking about the spots that I don’t clean as often as I should.Spots that I don’t think about when i start to clean the house. Below are three spots that I feel need attention:

  1. The top of the refrigerator– I’ve seen some nasty refrigerator tops in my time. Normally they’re fairly close to the stove top, so the dust on top of the refrigerator gets mixed in with grease and it’s just nasty.. Also, people like to store stuff on top of the refrigerator, so now your stuff is greasy and dusty. For many of us, its out of sight. Out of sight out of mind.  If you do it at least once a week, it won’t be bad at all.
  2. The back sides of your faucets This is something that is easy to miss. It can get pretty dirty back there and if you look it is visible. It can be hard to reach back and under there. And if you aren’t on top of it, you may need something to scrap it off. An old toothpaste can work.
  3.  Toilet paper holders  Toilet paper leaves dust on the sides of the holder, and it needs to be dusted off. This is something that would have never occurred to me to clean until I noticed mine and several clients bathrooms.

I got one! Indentations on exterior and interior doors (if the doors have them). Dust collectors.
