People tell me things all the time. And this extends to my clients while I’m working with them. Situations will come up and they will show me their way to handle them. These are three things that I saw worked:
A glass item shatters on the floor. Sweep up most of it with a broom but we all know a silver or ten are still on the floor. Use a dry cotton ball to pick up little broken pieces of glass. The fibers catch ones you can’t see!
So you are sending your grandma a pick of the kids and you sealed the envelope before putting in the pictures. Place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Then the envelope can be unsealed without any problem. Of course, you could steam the envelope open, too, with a tea kettle. I just didn’t know about the freezer option.
Fruit flies are sooooo annoying. Many of us do have fruit in baskets and bowls on our kitchen counters. To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2″>with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dish washing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup.
