9 Behaviors That Can Help A Group Dynamic

21 Jun

Working in a group can be challenging. I have found in my own experience that the success of a group depends on each individual’s attitude and approach. The following are behaviors that can help a group dynamics success:

  1. Purposeful in that common goals are pursued.

  2. Openness.

  3. Accurate personal understanding of own needs and accurate representation of them to the group.

  4. Flexible behavior that is not designed to take others by surprise.

  5. Not to use threats or bluffs.

  6. Devotion to always finding solutions to problems by using logical and sometimes innovative processes.

  7. Dropping stereotypes of others in the group.

  8. Ideas from group members are given consideration regardless of the source and that no hostility is aimed at that person.

  9. Each person in the group leaves ego out of the process.
