It’s hard to fully organize when you are in the middle of a transition. It may be best to wait until you have a clearer picture of your new situation and needs. A transition can be any of the following (and not limited to): Moving, Marriage, Divorce, New Baby, Retirement, Death of a loved one, Growth spurt in Business, Business Downsizing, and any other lifestyle change. Get a bunch of small boxes and a marker. Label each box whatever you need them for and put the appropriate stuff in the those boxes.
Folders or Large Envelopes are useful too. All like papers and receipts can be kept together in their respective places until you are ready.
Its okay to not be organized during transitional periods its best to be clear and have the big picture before attempting to organize.
